When bad guys go right

Seldom happens, but sometimes does

November 12, 2009 (Thursday)

picture of CharlesRobbers in Milwaukee returned their loot to the victim after discovering he had military identification in his wallet. They thanked him for his service and one of them gave him a fist bump before walking away from the scene. Other victims of the hoodlum quartet were not so fortunate, as the crooks made off with the money they took from them.

The reservist did not know why his being in the military was so important to the bad guys. But he was glad they gave back his things.

Sometimes the bad guys surprise people with their kindness. A lady came into Houston from out of town for her son’s funeral, and checked into a motel. As she was getting ready to leave for the service, a man broke into her room, demanding money. She gave him what she had, then began crying. The man asked why and she told him of her son’s death and other unfortunate things that had happened that day, including being robbed. He felt sorry for her, gave back her money, and offered instructions to her on how to prevent another break-in when in a motel room.

A missionary lady in Vietnam quoted Scripture to her would-be rapist, and told him about the Lord. The man listened to her and received Christ into his heart. She remained unharmed, and the man left with a new heart.

Sometimes things turn out better than expected.
