Dianna's surgery at M.D. Anderson Hospital is set for today
June 13, 2007 (Wednesday) - This is the Wednesday morning blog, but I'm writing it just before bedtime on Tuesday night,because I won't have a chance to do it Wednesday morning. The plan is to leave the house here at 5:15 a.m. to be at the hospital for Dianna's surgery at 6:30 a.m. The surgery will take five hours. Their sweet neighbor will be going with us, and she will drive the car, since Mark is temporarily disabled with his injured hand and I have lost my edge behind the wheel after one year away from the freeways, not to mention the fact that I am one year older. So I welcome the opportunity to be a passenger.
Although Dianna appears to be ready to have this surgery, I know it must be very difficult for her. I can't imagine what it would be like. Some of you reading this know very well what it's like. So, just keep on praying for her, please. I know you will.
